Accidental bringing mobile phones/head phones in bag and the action follows.

AU/16/CONT/19/84                                             27/08/2019

Sub: Accidental bringing mobile phones/head phones in bag and the action follows.

Sir,
It has been observed that, employees are sometimes unknowingly bringing their mobile phones in their office bags. Such mobiles if found during checking were being spoiled and only ‘SIM card’ is being returned to them by security officers. Such incidents are likely to happen on working day followed by holidays.
Nowadays scanning machines are kept and the bags will be screened before entering into the premises. Considering the wide use of mobiles during these modern days, it is time reconsider about the practice of totally spoiling the mobiles and its contents etc.
We suggest that if mobile is found, a computer expert may check its contents and if any secret or objectionable documents or pictures are found, the Dept. is free to take action, otherwise such mobiles may be handed over to the concerned individual with a forewarning. It is possible that the mobile may contain some personnel documents which are important to that individual.

Thanking you
Yours faithfully

Re-employment in Canteen services reg.

AU/16/Cont/19/88.                                             5th Sept 2019.
To
 The Chief Administrative Officer (A),
BARC.

Sub: Re-employment in Canteen services reg.

Sir,
With reference to the above subject we have received many representations from the canteen employees who are waiting for their promotion in their hierarchy.  There are few vacancies in the canteen section in various posts viz Clerks, Assistant halwai cum cook and managerial posts. The above posts are not filled because of Administrative reasons and hence the employees are not  in a position to occupy the posts. Further the Department has opted Re-employment of retire employees to carry out the same work.

This Union has the firm view that the DPC should be conducted immediately and offer the promotion orders to the eligible employees among the canteen staff instead of engaging retired persons against the promotional posts.

It is therefore request you to expedite the process of DPC and offer the promotion to the serving canteen staff at the earliest.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,

A.Sreedharan

Sir,
With reference to the above subject your kind attention is invited to the above cited circular that the employees are asked to report for the invigilation duty for the written examination for the post of Nurse A. In this regard we have received some representations from the employees requesting to approve compensatory off instead of Honorarium for the duty performing on Saturday and Sunday. Employees are discharging their highly responsible duties on holidays to be appreciated.
It is therefore request you to kindly sanction compensatory-off to the employees who are performing the above duties.

Thanking you

Payment of Night Duty Allowance in the pre revised rate.

AU/16/CAO/19/88.
17th September 2019.
To
The Chief Administrative Officer (P),
BARC.

Payment of Night Duty Allowance in the pre revised rate.

Sir,
The Payment of Night Duty Allowance is discontinued in the past and this Union had raised the issue with the Department to release the payment of NDA. Further the CAO (P) had put forward in the DAE Departmental Council  that the issue is settled in the Regional Council, BARC. It is also established that there is no Order issued from DAE to discontinue the payment of NDA in the pre-revised rate. It is unfortunate to state that till now the NDA payment is not released to the eligible employees.

In the above stated position this Union would like to request you to convey the necessary instructions to the concern authorities to pay the Night Duty Allowance along with arrears to the eligible employees.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,

A.Sreedharan
