Sub: Change of Govt. Accommodation on Medical Ground.
Sir,
With reference to the above subject we would like to bring your kind attention to the following.
In the normal case DAE allotment rule 1982 permits one change in the same category of accommodation.
There are instances reported that employees who are availed the normal changes in the respective category, subsequently any one of the family member fall ill, the doctors advise change of accommodation to ground floor.
In such circumstances the DCSEM is not in a position to allow the desired change to the allottees even though they deserve on medical ground.
While availing change of accommodation in the normal case, officials are not anticipating any future illness come across in their family.
In the above stated position this union strongly suggests that the allottees who availed the change of accommodation in their normal turn and in an unforeseen situation doctors advises change of accommodation on medical ground such cases should be consider on priority.
It is therefore request you to convey necessary instructions to the DCSEM so that the medically recommended cases will get relief.
