AU/16/DAE/19/76 14th
August 2019.
To
Joint Secretary (A&A)
DAE.
Ref; Your letter 19/1/2015-CCS/8702.
Sub: Posting of APO/AAO on SCF quota-reg.
Sir,
We are in
receipt of your letter No. Dated 12/07/2019 regarding the posting of SCF APOs.
We would like to put the following few points for your kind consideration.
According
to the letter the posting of APOs from SCF panel at the same station is
considering only those who are having service less than two years for
superannuation. All the empanelled SCF APOs have put in nearly 3 decades of
service in the Department and nearly 15 years of service in the post of
Assistant and placed in the same level pay of APO. They will be benefitted
financially only after 4 years of residency in the post of APO. Hence it is once again emphasised to post SCF
APOs in their respective station so that the benefit of pay can be availed by
them at least after 4 years.
We further
invite your attention that the panel for any cadre post is drawn for the period
of one year i.e. 1st Jan - 31st Dec of that particular
year. In the year 2019, already 7 months are passed and nobody is offered APO
posting from SCF panel. We would also like to mention that since last 10 months
no candidates are posted from SCF panel.
It is
pertinent to note here that all the cadre posts of Director P&A, CAO and
AO-III/DEO are filled in anticipation of superannuation whereas the post of
APO/AAO is kept for months together.
Hence it is also requested to take up the case of APO/AAOs posting
likewise the other cadres mentioned above.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
A.Sreedharan
(Gen.Secretary)
