Sub: Revision of lodging charges
in the Guest House/ Hostels DAE and its constituent units.
Respected Sir,
With
reference to the above subject we may invite your kind attention to the
following points. The above cited OM issued on 31/12/2018 by DAE, the charges
of Guest house/ Hostels is exorbitantly hiked. A comparative statement charges
indicating pre revised and revised rates are given below.

From
the above chart it is evident that the rate of lodging charges has been hiked
fourfold and it will affect the low paid employees who travel with their family
availing LTC at different stations. The Department has always extended this as
a facility since our employees are move from one station to another for official
purpose as well as personal and the cost of outside guest house is always unaffordable
for the DAE family members.
In the above stated position we request your good offices
to review the decision of hiking the lodging charges of Guest houses/Hostels.
