Sub: Withholding the PRIS (I) of Technical
staff regarding.
Sir,
Performance
Incentive Scheme is a package consisting of three components including PRIS
(Organizational), PRIS (Group), and PRIS (Individual). The PRIS (I) Component
for technical staff is different from Scientific Officer/Technical Officer.
With reference to Technical staff, PRIS (I) is determined based on the
promotion awarded considering the grading of preceding four years. In other
words once the promotion is awarded from that effective year to the next
promotion, PRIS (I) is not altered unlike the Scientific Officers.
At
present the payment of PRIS (I) of Technical staff is being withheld from the month
of July in each year. In the case of technical staff those who are not screened
in for the next promotion, there will not be any change in PRIS (I) for that
particular year. The above payment pattern is disturbing the take home salary
of individual employees and causes hardship.
In
the above stated position this Union would like to request your good office to
convey necessary instructions that not to hold back the PRIS (I) payment of
technical staff except the promotion cases.
