AU16/DCSEM/19/58
4th July 2019
To
The
Director,
DCSEM,
V. S. Bhavan.
Sub: Request to arrange a meeting
Respected Sir,
The new committee of the Atomic
Energy Workers & Staff Union, BARC has taken over the charge in the month
of May 2019 and we request you to arrange a meeting with you at the earliest.
The Directorate is trying for the best to improve the allotment system,
extending facilities in the Township, safety and security of the resident’s
etc. Since few decades, this Union also extended our feedback to improve the
system. However the following points we would like to bring to your attention
and request to fix a convenient date for meeting.
1.
Once a flat
is surrendered, it should be available online same day to the stakeholders to
view the status of the flat and it will ensure maximum transparency.
2.
Provide
Lists of flats allotted in the previous allotment year on out of
turn/medical/hardship to the union.
3.
The priority
list is not displayed the applicant’s
existing accommodation because of specific reason the applicants are not able
to make out whether the other applicants are for change or fresh. Hence it is
requested to indicate two color codes
in the online list.
4.
Since the
allotment system made online there are many ambiguities with the employees.
Hence we request PowerPoint presentation at CC Auditorium to clear out doubts
of the applicants.
5.
Since last
few years the PTTA facility made operational with higher rate of membership
fees and same is not affordable to the employees. Hence it is requested to
minimize the membership fees so that maximum employees can make use of it.
6. Occupancy of
police personnel at Anushaktinagar Township and their action on disturbing
peace and harmony of the township. The police personnel and their family
members are always disturbing our employees and often using the police
influence to justify their misdeeds. Hence they may ask to vacate the quarters
7. The Type D
allotment is being made at 1:1 ratio (pay & service) and it is
disadvantageous to the service seniority personnel. It is a deviation of MOUD
orders. In addition to this, it is not ensured at a given point of time that
50% occupancy of the service seniority applicants are staying in the Type.
Hence a survey may be carried out whether 50% of the residence are allotted
based on the service seniority.
8. When the
renovation carrying out in a residing flat Department have to provide
alternative accommodation. This can be implemented by reserving few flats for
the above purpose.
9. At present
the employees are eligible to make an application for accommodation under
medical/hardship/out of turn cotta after completion of three years. Previously
this condition did not exist. Hence it is requested to revise the eligibility
for making application for allotment of hardship/out of turn/medical.
We request you to confirm an early and convenient date for the
meeting.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
A.Sreedharan
(Gen.Secretary)
CC to CAO,
DCSEM.
