Sub: Revision of Policy for “Compassionate Appointment” in BARC reg: 

Respected Sir,

            With reference to the discussion held with you on 17^th July we would like to invite your kind attention to the following.

             Though, a lot of revision took place in the last decade regarding procedures, posts and appointments in BARC, both in Administration and Technical sides, we still follow the same policy for the appointment of a person on compassionate ground.  In post 6^th Pay commission era, the Group D posts are merged with Group C. Even though the children and spouses of most of BARC employees are well qualified but at present we are only offering work assistant post on compassionate appointment. In case of sudden demise of the guardian of the family, they are in deep distress. The most deserving families are considered for compassionate appointment by the Department to their family members either spouse or children. We feel that the policy of Compassionate appointment also needs a timely revision.

            Hence, we request your good officers that, if the applicants are eligible, they may please be considered for appointment in any post within Group C, i.e. from Level 1 to Level 5 according to their qualification.
